Are you suffering from #isoskin? Firstly, you are not alone, babe! During times of stress and change, our skin often responds in ways we don’t expect. When our life has big changes, the best thing you can do is to go with the flow and just let your body adjust to this new normal – don’t force it.
In this blog, I will share some of the most sensible and easy-to-do self-care tips. Here are some simple solutions:
Drink up!
No, I’m not talking about wine 🍷😋. Stay hydrated by drinking 6 to 8 glasses of filtered water 💧 per day, this helps to flush toxins from your system.
Keep moving!
Try to keep motivated, and staying in routine – this is a big one for me! Isolation 1.0 I was still waking up at 7 am and going into work so I didn’t become in a routine that would make me feel even worse. Daily exercise, whether it’s a brisk walk, run or an online workout class will bring you so many benefits. I found some good workouts on YouTube & talking to my gym friends. We know exercise is great for keeping weight down as well as helping with stress levels.
Chill Out!
Take some time out every day to practice some mindfulness or chill out time. Even if you put aside 15 – 30 min a day for yourself. Snooze on the couch, or make a cup of tea with zero technology & social media. Your mind and body will reap the benefits.
Keep that skin looking on point!
Don’t forget that on point skincare routine. Just because we are in isolation, not going out hitting the town, your skin is still important to keep it hydrated, and well balanced. Make sure you keep that skincare routine established with good skincare at home.
