About Cosmetic Injections

Anti-wrinkle injections are used to help prevent deep wrinkles forming and to soften and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in a subtle and natural looking way.

As we age the balance of our facial features change, producing unwanted effects that can make us look tired, grumpy, sad and worn-out. The skin can become shallow and dull.

A very small amount of anti-wrinkle solution is injected into the muscles that cause your lines and wrinkles. They are designed to smooth away the wrinkles and lines in most commonly, your frown, forehead and crow’s feet area. Although it can be used in other areas of your face also, for example; to reduce your lip lines, reduce your gummy smile or soften your mouth frown.

Anti-wrinkle injections are a type of botulinum toxin, a naturally occurring protein extract and is generally very well tolerated in the minute levels administered for cosmetic purposes.

Anti-wrinkle treatments have been approved for use for over 20 years globally.

Most commonly treated areas include:

  • frown lines
  • forehead lines
  • crows feet
  • reversing mouth frown by lifting corners of your mouth
  • smoothing a dimpled chin
  • sharpening your jaw lines and help lift up a sagging neck
  • resolving a gummy smile

About Dermal Filler

When we age, we lose volume from the face. We offer some treatments which promote skin elasticity and collagen production, but sometimes you need a little bit of help too – this is where dermal fillers can help. Dermal fillers can be injected into areas of the face where volume has been lost to bring back volume and plumpness, resulting in a more youthful appearance.

Who is this treatment for?

This treatment can be performed on any skin type and tone, some patients suffering with certain skin conditions or have allergies may not be suitable candidates.

How does it feel?

The injections feel like a pinch and can be somewhat painful depending on the area they are being administered to, however we supply the patients with topical anesthetic to ensure they are as comfortable as possible.

Is it safe?

Dermal fillers have been used for over a decade and we now understand the best way to use them to ensure their reliability and efficiency.

Is there downtime?

Pricing varies and is individualized according to area/s treated, strength of muscles and dosages required.
