Following your therapist’s aftercare advice is the best way to protect your skin, boost your results, and keep your complexion healthy and radiant.

Below you’ll find everything you need to know after each treatment.

Microdermabrasion Aftercare

Your skin may feel a little warm or sensitive after your treatment, that’s completely normal. It’s just your fresh new skin coming through!

DO:

  • Keep your skin hydrated with a gentle, nourishing moisturiser
  • Apply a SPF 50+ every day (Manola SPF 50+ is sold $29 in-salon or online)
  • Use a mild cleanser and avoid scrubbing
  • Drink plenty of water to support your glow from within

AVOID for 3–5 Days:

  • Active skincare (AHAs, BHAs, Retinol, Vitamin C)
  • Direct sun exposure, tanning, or saunas
  • Hot showers or steam rooms
  • Makeup for the first 24 hours
  • Touching or picking at your skin
Skin Needling Aftercare

Your skin will be more sensitive than usual — think of it as brand new, baby-soft skin that needs a little extra TLC.

DO:

  • Use a gentle, hydrating cleanser and moisturiser
  • Apply SPF 50+ daily to protect your new skin (Manola SPF 50+ is sold $29 in-salon or online)
  • Keep makeup off for at least 24 hours
  • Stick to soothing, hydrating products recommended by your therapist

AVOID for 3–7 Days:

  • Retinol, AHAs/BHAs, Vitamin C, or exfoliating products
  • Direct sun, sweating, saunas, or swimming
  • Heavy workouts
  • Anti-inflammatory medications (they can interfere with your natural healing process)
Skin Peel Aftercare

After a peel, your skin is freshly resurfaced and glowing — treat it with care and you’ll love your results even more.

DO:

  • Apply SPF 50+ daily to protect your new skin (Manola SPF 50+ is sold $29 in-salon or online)
  • Stick to gentle, hydrating skincare
  • Stay hydrated and follow your therapist’s product recommendations
  • Continue using prescribed aftercare until sensitivity settles

AVOID for 7–14 Days:

  • Harsh exfoliants, active ingredients, or scrubs (Retinol, AHAs, BHAs, Vitamin C)
  • Cosmetic injectables or laser treatments (2 weeks before or after your peel)
  • Direct sunlight or heat exposure
  • Picking or peeling flaking skin – let it shed naturally
Facial Treatment Aftercare

You’re glowing, now let’s keep it that way! Your facial has deeply nourished your skin, and a few simple steps will help extend your results.

DO:

  • Keep your skin clean, calm, and hydrated

  • Follow your therapist’s homecare advice
  • Maintain your skincare routine for ongoing results

AVOID for 24–48 Hours:

  • Heavy makeup or exfoliating products
  • Sun exposure, heat, or saunas
  • Touching your face or picking at your skin
LED Light Therapy Aftercare

LED is gentle and fuss-free. It's the perfect way to refresh your skin with zero downtime. You can go straight back to your day looking radiant!

DO:

  • Keep using your prescribed skincare to support your results

  • Stay consistent. LED gives the best results as part of a regular treatment plan

AVOID for 24 Hours:

  • Harsh exfoliants or active ingredients
  • Direct sunlight without SPF
  • Excess heat or heavy sweating
